It has been officially announced that Call of duty Modern Warfare 2 will not have dedicated servers which means the following.

- No dedicated servers.

- No rentable servers from places like gameservers.com

- No modding.

- No mapping.

- No international gaming (as matchmaking finds the best servers / connections)

- Low player numbers - up to 16 per servers most likely.

-Pugging in servers is going to be very very hard if not impossible.

-We have to deal with steam and no pb.  They are using VAC anti cheat system which sucks.

-Competitive gaming will be dead because all servers will be owned by IW so we cant adjust the server how we like it or scrim when we want or anything in that nature.

-From my understanding we will have to deal with steam.

From what you see IW and Activision has forgotten about the PC community.  Without the PC community support there would be no games made for consoles.  This is by far the biggest crime I ever seen done in the video gaming world to dedicated fans who made call of duty what it is today PC gamers.
